Terms of Service – Lano Digital

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the working relationship between you (“the Client”) and Lano Digital (“we”, “our”, or “us”), covering the scope, payment, and delivery of our services.

By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:


1. Scope of Work

1.1 A clear brief and scope of work will be provided to and agreed upon by the Client before any project begins. This scope forms the basis of what will be delivered.
1.2 Any work requested outside of the agreed scope will be quoted separately and will not proceed without written approval.


2. Payment Terms

2.1 Website & Branding Projects

  • A 50% deposit is required before work commences.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to final handover of files or full site access.
  • The website may be launched to the public before final payment, but full access and ownership will be transferred only once the final invoice is paid.

2.2 Monthly Services (e.g. Social Media, Marketing Support, SEO, Paid Ads)

  • Monthly services are billed in advance and payment is due before the first of the month.
  • Services are provided on a rolling month-to-month basis.
  • A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to cancel monthly services.
  • Paid media budgets (e.g. Facebook Ads, Google Ads) are billed separately or paid directly by the Client.

2.3 Late Payments

  • Invoices are due within 7 days of the issue date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may result in a pause in services until the account is settled.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Ownership of all final deliverables transfers to the Client upon receipt of full payment.

3.2 Until full payment is made, all materials and work remain the property of Lano Digital.

3.3 Lano Digital retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Revisions & Changes

4.1 Website and branding packages include two rounds of revisions unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Additional revisions or change requests outside of scope will be quoted separately.


5. Project Timelines

5.1 Lano Digital will provide an estimated timeline for project delivery.

5.2 Timely feedback, content, and approvals from the Client are essential to avoid delays.

5.3 Project timelines may be adjusted if delays occur due to Client-side hold-ups or late approvals.


6. Support & Maintenance

6.1 Website projects include 60 days of post-launch support for minor updates, optimisation, and SEO adjustments.

6.2 After this period, further support or website maintenance is available under a monthly support plan or on an ad-hoc basis.

6.3 Support plans can be tailored to include performance monitoring, content updates, SEO, and more.


7. Communication

7.1 We strive to respond to emails and messages within 1 business day.

7.2 Communication will occur primarily via email or agreed platforms (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Trello).
