Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain how we work together, what to expect, and how our services are delivered.  By engaging Lano Digital, you agree to the terms below.

1. Scope of work

  • We’ll always agree on a clear scope of work before starting.
  • That scope outlines what’s included, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Any work requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately and only started once approved in writing.

2. Payment terms

Website and build projects

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
  • The remaining 50% is due once the project is complete and before final handover.
  • A site may go live before final payment, but full access, ownership, and transfer of files only occur once payment is complete.
  • Monthly services (marketing, optimisation, support)

Monthly services are billed in advance.

  • Services run month-to-month unless otherwise agreed.
  • We require 30 days’ written notice to cancel or pause monthly services.
  • Advertising spend (Meta, Google, etc.) is always funded directly by the client and is separate from our fees.

Late payments

  • Invoices are due within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • If payment is overdue, we may pause work until the account is brought up to date.
  • 3. Ownership and intellectual property
  • Once full payment is received, ownership of final deliverables transfers to you.
  • Until payment is complete, all work remains the property of Lano Digital.
  • We may feature completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

4. Revisions and changes

  • Website and branding projects include up to two rounds of revisions unless stated otherwise.
  • Additional revisions or requests outside scope will be quoted separately.

5. Project timelines

  • We’ll provide an estimated delivery timeline at the start of the project.
  • Timely feedback, approvals, and content from you are essential to keep things moving.
  • Delays caused by late feedback or approvals may extend timelines.

6. Support and maintenance

  • Website projects include up to 60 days of post-launch support for minor fixes and adjustments.
  • Ongoing support, optimisation, or marketing is available via a monthly plan or ad-hoc work.
  • Support plans can include performance monitoring, content updates, SEO, and marketing support.

7. Communication

  • We aim to respond to messages within one business day.
  • Communication is handled via email or Slack, as agreed.

8. Working relationship

  • We only take on work where we believe we can deliver value.
  • Results depend on many factors including product, pricing, market conditions, and execution.
  • While we work hard to drive outcomes, we can’t guarantee specific revenue or performance results.
